Two 16-year old girls refereed the tag tournament at the Norfolk Youth Games held at The University of East Anglia Sportspark.

Laura Marjoram and Lou Youngs, were refereeing their first tournament under the watchful eye of Graham Cross, Norfolk Referees Society Secretary and RFU Referee Trainer.

Both did exceptionally well and were congratulated by Mike Gatting , one time prop, but more renowned for his cricket prowess, being the last England captain to hold aloft The Ashes, who presented the girls with Sport England certificates and referee badges.
