The announcement that Czech budget airline, Sky Europe, is introducing an economy service between Stansted and Budapest will give a huge boost to clubs considering a rugby tour to Hungary. Although a number of English clubs have made the trip and enjoyed the inexpensive hotels (and cheap beer) the high cost of flights has proved a deterrent to many.

Sky Europe’s announcement that starting from November 2003 their flights are from £90 return including taxes, a weekend tour to Budapest is now within the reach of many more clubs.
