The Harlequin Ladies were joined by a special guest star for a recent triangular tournament when Blue Peter presenter, Liz Barker, made her debut on the wing.

In preparation for a Six Nations special to be aired last month, Liz spent the week training with England’s Richard Hill and Kyran Bracken, and with the Harlequin Ladies before joining them for the matches on the Sunday.

The friendly tournament kicked off with Rosslyn Park beating Hove in a hard-fought game. Hove then suffered a second defeat at the hands of the Harlequin Ladies, Blue Peter’s Liz even helping to set up a try. Harlequins then beat Rosslyn Park in the final match and everyone in the team got a Blue Peter badge.
