Having kicked off their campaign with impressive wins against Italy, Scotland and Ireland, England’s 22-19 victory over current Six Nations and Grand Slam champions Wales at Gloucester set up the exciting finale with France.
Said Pete Drewett after the French game, “The match was exciting right to the last second and the response from everyone was one of immense satisfaction at a job well done. After the game everyone looked each other in the eye and knew they had achieved their own bit of history.”
