E-day update

The RFU has recognised that everyone involved in community rugby needs a website catering for their specific needs and work is currently underway to provide an entirely community focused section of rfu.com, supporting the everyday business of administrators, coaches, referees, clubs and Constituent Bodies.

An RFU forms link on every club and CB’s page on rfu.com/clubs, accessed by clicking on the link on the club or CB page’s left hand menu, presently provides forms and useful information to download. Whether it is permission to tour, insurance information, player registration, referees’ report forms, discipline reports, child welfare information or Rugby Football Foundation applications you require, it is all there to access and use.

Everything is there, from CASC rules to clubhouse design and a free download of Adobe Acrobat is also available on the same page enabling clubs to read portable document files (PDFs).

E-Day is now an agenda item on several RFU committees. A review is being undertaken of documents which the game will need providing in hard copy for the foreseeable future.

Clubs and CBs are reminded that if they wish to contribute feedback on any E-Day topic they can obtain a copy of a relevant questionnaire from Dave Barton at davebarton@rfu.com.
