Northampton Saints have appointed a new director to its highly successful academy that has just helped the club’s second team to a place in the Zurich A League final.

Former Saracens and Rotherham centre and ex-Bracknell RFC assistant chief executive James Sinclair (pictured) now heads up the Academy at the club, assisted by Martin Hynes.

Sinclair has been working closely as part of the coaching team at Northampton Saints throughout the season and has helped coach the Wanderers side that play NEC Harlequins in the two-leg A league final this month.
