Smash Hit

Thornbury Broncos website (www.thornburybroncos.co.uk) was first launched to serve the huge influx of new players following the World Cup, and a swelling junior section of some 220 players, serving all ages, a colts squad and girls’ teams at U13 and U16. The site received more than 800 hits in just two weeks and was given a four star rating on the moonfruit.com software, on which it was has been created. Why not pay them a visit?

You might see mention of the Broncos 18th annual rugby tournament at their Rockhampton Lane ground when teams from Frampton Cotterell, Yatton, Monmouth, North Petherton, Hucclecote and Old Centrailians were invited to take on the Broncos in four age groups from U9s to U12s.

The results for the tournament were:
U9 Yatton RFC, runners up Monmouth RFC; U10s Hucclecote RFC, runners up Thornbury Broncos; U11s Thornbury Broncos, runners up Frampton Cotterell; U12s Yatton, runners up Hucclecote RFC. The fair play award went to a very deserving Frampton Cotterell for the wonderful spirit in which they played and also for the support given by their parents.
