Rugby Writers Triumph

In a pre Christmas rugby quiz evening involving gentlemen of the rugby press as well as Twickenham stalwarts four writers emerged victorious. The team of (left to right) David Hands, Terry Cooper, Peter Jackson and Andrew Titheridge displayed their superior knowledge to claim the accolade, correctly answering such questions as:

1. In which year did the New Zealand team nicknamed 'Invicibles' tour the British Isles?

2.Which Home Nation has provided the most Lions players?

Questions were compiled by Museum of Rugby Curator, Jed Smith. The first Touchline reader to submit the right answers to the two above will receive a signed Jonah Lomu video.
