	Nicky Ponsford has a well-deserved 50 caps having played for the England Women’s Rugby Squad from 1987 to 2003. As well as being a power-house on the pitch, she also competed for the Great Britain Sailing Team from 1984 to 1991 and came 6th in the Women’s Worlds (Laser). Nicky was awarded an MBE in October 2002 for Services to the RFUW.
