Greater Manchester Assistant RDO

Salary Level:             £16,439 plus contribution to final salary pension scheme 

Hours:                        37 hours per week

Location:                    Belle Vue Manchester  

Duration of                This post is for a fixed term of no more than 12 months.

Employment:              However the post is subject to the availability of external funding without which the purpose of employment does not exist. This funding is subject to annual review by the funders and should it be withdrawn employment will cease.  In such cases appropriate notice will be given.

Greater Manchester Sports Partnership is an independent company and a registered charity representing one of the leading sports networks in the UK.  In partnership with the RFU and RFUW we are currently seeking to recruit a dynamic individual to work on behalf of the agencies to implement the County Rugby Development plan.  Your role will involve working with Local Development Groups, Sports Development Officers and the Greater Manchester Rugby Development Officer to develop Rugby Union across Greater Manchester. 

The ideal candidate will have a vision and a clear understanding of the way in which the development of Rugby in Greater Manchester can evolve.  It is important that you have knowledge of the organisation and structure of Rugby within the county and experience of working within both a coaching and development environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to support and develop Rugby Union within the county and help to ensure that player pathways, school club links etc are sustained.
