It may be a quiet week on the pitch with a rest from their busy league season, but the Harlequin Ladies are proud to be featured in the 2005 Blue Peter Annual.

Earlier this year, the Harlequin Ladies appeared on the popular children’s programme when presenter Liz trained, and then played with them in a victorious friendly against Hove.

Liz is featured on the back cover in full playing kit, and the feature inside gives her perspective on the game. Although Liz couldn’t be persuaded to take up the game on a regular basis, shs certainly seemed to enjoy her time as a Harlequin Lady.

The team continue their league campaign this Sunday, away to Medway, and in search of a much needed win.
