Fiji have won the Melrose Cup by defeating New Zealand 29-19 in front of a 40,000 capacity crowd, to be crowned Rugby World Cup Sevens 2005 Champions.
In a stunning finale to the RWC Sevens 2005 Samoa and Italy also got their hands on the respective Plate and Bowl trophies.
But all the attention was on Waisale Serevi's Fiji as they denied New Zealand back to back Melrose Cups.
