Julio

True enough comment!

I was merely saying that after all the crap that the Wallabies got for being ungracious in defeat and victory form the British press and CW, it was a bit hypocritical for him to come out and start whinging about the Aussies.

Think any of us might get a bit miffed, if, every time our team lost 1 game out of 13, the whole world turned out be experts, after the event.

I'd dearly like to to hear from someone who can make an educated comment about CW, WITHOUT the benefit of hindsight.

Remember - no one here, has to live with some of the snide personal comments made about a bloke who literally stays up virtually all night,
planning what he does.

I think most of his comments were spot on! The reason England didn't score any tries was because the Australians were quite happy to kill the ball and give away 3 points rather than conceed the inevitable try that was on the way. Woodward was just pointing out that this is a negative tatic that detracts from the spectacle that international rugby has become.

I was very disapointed with the way the Aussies played as I was expecting a very close fought game and the way they killed off any decent England posession in their half ruined it. I think the ref. (who generally had an excellant game) was very lenient on the Australian players killing the ball, several more of them could have quite legitimately being sin-binned.

misguided yes hypercritical no, I think all his comments were about killing the game and not playing the game fairly or attractively. England do all of this and although England did not score a try on Saturday that cant be for lack of effort!

Let me just say congratulations England, they were sensational in the first half. While I commend CW for making some tough decisions during the week, I think some of his comments after the game were disappointing not to mention showing how hypocritical he is. I think he needs to start acting as he preaches.
