Dear Friends in Rugby:

My son and a few of his friends have started a Rugby Club at their High School. So, I am "forced" back into coaching. Because I have been away from the game for well over 6 years I am a little lost.

The new rules seem alien. And, I have no feeling for coaching these really inexperienced players in the new style of play. The rucking and use of the ball from second phase on are not what they used to be.

I have played (Argentina First Division)and coached (Argentina U8 to 1st XV, US Collegiate and 1st Division) for many years quite successfuly, yet I find myself in the need to revise my philosophy of practice and play. Also, I must revise my startegy and the practices that comply with what we want to accomplish.

I am open to suggestions and recommendations on books and other resources you would recomend to catch up with this "new" rugby.

I will check responses here but if you want you can write me at arg4heal@aol.com.

Thanks,

Robbie Healy
