....having just recovered from a good old fashioned hiding at Moseley....Park have regrouped and a few key players are now back from injury and non-availability...

Park v Club is as traditional as it gets and there will be several distinguished Vice Presidents, guests and former Internationals at lunch on Saturday....hence my optimism....

Park by 12
Moseley by 10
Gate by 5
Doncaster by 8
Manchester by 12
Nuns by 8
Stour by 15

Manchester by 5
Nuns by 10

Who are the real favourites Waterloo or DOncaster - Waterloo have a really settled side now over the last couple of years and have the winning habit - their forwards have come to the fore this season after two years of glory for the backs.
Doncaster too many new players might take them a while to gel?? Doing a worcester does not work one season change it all round again??

rugbystats Wed, 22 September 04 14:44 GMT

Good to see you boys winning at last must have been a surprisse winning at Esher - but can you build on it this week against Harrogate!!!!!!! well

phil peace - phil.peace@multiplex.biz Fri, 10 September 04 11:30 GMT

yes I messed up the Doncaster prediction last week....too many good trips to Dale clouded my judgement..

Doncaster by 15
Moseley by 3
Manchester by 5
Nuns by 15
Park by 9
Esher by 15
Waterloo by 10

Am very cautious about Park tomorrow because Newbury looked sharp in our pre season training session at their place...however the Evening Standard are predicting a Park victory and are advising all supporters to 'start drinking now' because they reckon most games will be very close....

your right Steve...not at all negative with those 2 points in the bag

of course had this bonus point system been in operation last season Park would not have had to go through the relegation appeal

it certainly looks like Doncaster and Esher will be the sides to watch this season...their clash at Esher on 27 Nov will be a close call...

Although you lost at least you picked up a couple of bonus points so not all negative - can't believe you went for Dale to win against Doncaster????
How are you anyway and how well can Park do this season.
Cheers

well done with the Nottingham result spot on i concede defeat to you this week.
Big game for you boys this week at Nuneaton - can you pull it off!!!!!!

phil peace - phil.peace@multiplex.biz Mon, 17 November 03 14:11 GMT

rugby stats 4 pts
RPFC diehard 6 pts
The pain of conceding 53 home pts was only tempered by Roy and his amiable colleagues from Harrogate plying me(as usual)with copious quantities of drink...
is it just me and rugby stats on this message board????

No problem putting my reputation on the line. Although will have you down as a 10 point loss this week. Hey you gave Doncaster a good game!!!!
Have never been to see you at home but have seen you play at Morley a number of years back and met a couple of your people. Charlie Addiman and Bernard Wiggins.
Based in Manchester so do not get down south as much as i would like.

phil peace - phil.peace@multiplex.biz Tue, 11 November 03 09:39 GMT

I am throwing down a challenge to rugby stats a la Nat3S. On the basis of their scoring system (3pts correct diff, 2 pts correct away & 1 pt correct home) and on last Sat results we have:
RPFC diehard 5 pts
rugby stats 4 pts
ps do u ever get to RPFC???

Affirmative. He played last week and we both had a chat before the game vs Rugby as revealed by the stats on this excellent site. It's not for me to give out players' phone nos or e mail addresses so why not ring the club or send a fax and no doubt he will be pleased to call you back to collect the cash you obviously owe him!!!

Phil,

As a die hard supporter, would you happen to know whether a lad(26/27ish)by the name of James (I think his surname is Ryan) is still playing at RP. I know he had a few games in the back row for the first team 2 seasons ago. He originates from the Leeds/Morley area and used to play for Morley. Any info would be appreciated.

bit reliant on Howard at present scoring tries and kicking goals - is that a worry if he were to get injured.
Hope you enjoy the beers.

phil peace - phil.peace@multiplex.biz Sun, 02 November 03 07:31 GMT

pinpoint accuracy re your predicted points difference RPRC v Rugby Lions

I always have a bet on these statistics....in future I'll follow your predictions to buy the opposition supporters a beer after our wins!!

Trying hard to get them right but some people are very touchy about them - Sedgley Park must be favourites at this stage and are taking it seriously.
Park have to win this one a loss here could drain them of confidence - but would not bet against them in this one.

phil peace - phil.peace@multiplex.biz Fri, 31 October 03 14:22 GMT

Very accurate predictions so far this season....much better than the London Evening Standard every Thursday

This League is really close...very little difference between the clubs

Watch for an assult on the Championship from RPFC starting against Rugby Lions tomorrow!!!!
