My God, if Mr K is back and has access to the internet again it must mean that England is once again on an upward path to world domination.

Oh and to echo the refrain, show me the photo.

Laurentian Thu, 31 July 08 13:37 GMT

You're back!!!!

PHOTO PLEASE!

mkking(2) Thu, 31 July 08 01:19 GMT

Well how the hell are ya?

Just wondered what you masters think of a little bloke who came on in the famous incident packed 03 rWC Final Matthew Giteau.

By the way Dingo Deans is he truly the worlds best Coach?

Sorry, drink had been taken as one might expect.

But let's see that photo!

Nick

Calm down this is not the antipodian spawn of the devil this is the guy who took on the tw*t and indeed instigated the SMTP response.

Now we need to be sensitive to southern hemisphere feelings at the moment as they must be feeling somewhat fragile.

The way things are going they may even have to nivite the Pumas into the Tri (Quad?) Nations especially if the Pumas turn over the Sweaties and reach the semis - outperforming both Aus and New Zealand.

Still lets just enjoy the moment one NH side is going to be in the Final, lets just dream of it being a team playing in white.

Show me the f**cking photo you t**ser.

NBHmark3 Sat, 06 October 07 19:14 GMT

ooops, wasn't expecting that.

Hoping not expecting.

thats three world cups and we've dished the Aussies, albeit they did win one in a World Cup at twickers.

Still at least this time there is no Lomu heading our way.......(albeit that there are 15 players just as good maybe not as big......)

patto1 Sat, 06 October 07 11:35 GMT

Skip,
Whata ya mean? Dementia ! I'd take issue with that if i could only remember why i wanted to take issue. Why am I looking for tissues?
I remember, my pommie mate wanted them handy for todays game:-)

NBHmark3 Sat, 06 October 07 00:05 GMT

I've been here since the start; iterations of roles within club have presaged change of moniker, from HBN 1 & 2 to NBH 3 as time has passed. (Changing ID is easier than changing profile rights).

Been involved with many discussions over how England didn't have a chance, how we were washed up, etc. I was even party to the most famous welshed bet in rugby forum history from the infamous Mr K. (echoes of show me the photo ring around.....)

Still my Kiwi mate who works in Aus has proffered a side bet regarding four SH sides in the semis this time round, and the last time we had a similar bet it cost him much ingenuity to get the wine to the winner up to the Northern Hemisphere

My only problem this time round is the fear that on Sunday I will find myself cheering on the sweaties in order to salvage something and avoid coughing up on the bottles of fine wine...

At the moment it is just about still Friday evening and at this time, we (that being England) can still win the RWC, if we do over Australia, beat the French who will have overun the AB's and then collapse having won their final, and in the real final take on Fiji and win by two clear scores in normal time final.

Time for bed, have a senior level match to ref tomorrow, need to recover well as this wine is obviously working very well.

mmm, might need to overdo the units tomorrow night to numb the pain, or could it be celebrate the moment..........

its what makes rugby such fun.

It might surprise you NBH, but myself and Patto were here from the beginning of this particular forum. Patto has changed his name though. Probably the first signs of dementia setting in as he is aging now and has probably forgotten his old password. :-)

I drop in every now and then to see what's happening, but rarely post now. Seems the same old issues are constantly turned over, similar to how you'd treat a compost heap really. :-)

The Wallabies.......the ONLY team to have held TWO World Cups!!
All the rest are playing catch-up...........
2007? An aberration, surely?

taikato Fri, 05 October 07 12:00 GMT

MKKing was it? I imagine that he will probably pop in for a visit if the Wallabies win this weekend. If not, well then you are unlikely to hear from him for awhile. That was pretty much his standard MO.

Its like a little Sounthern Hemisphere glee club in here nowadays, if we are going to resurrect famous threads of old any chance of a certain antipodian punter appearing in a certain shirt/

Employ us. I thought we were just burden on your dole system.

patto1 Thu, 04 October 07 14:49 GMT

And I only wear chains on the weekends. Dumb Kiwi.

skippy1 Thu, 04 October 07 14:26 GMT

Filthy? I wash regular mate. :-)

Have to agree. England murdered Aussie in the scrum and I think that Watson did an average job of giving them due benefits of that domination.

England were justly crowned World Champions in 03. Most Aussie's were pretty gracious about it. Whoever agrees with the title of this post needs their head examined.

But my money this weekend is on Aussie. I would actually like England to win as I am nervous as all hell about beating France this weekend and getting pipped by the crooks next weekend. Filthy convict b@stards.

You may want to refer to the previous thread of "magical fairies carried rob andrew drop goal over" for the reason why oz lost in 95 too

Four years later and this post has been proved correct.

Son of Aussie Rob Tue, 06 June 06 03:17 GMT

kw,
I think they're so embarrassed about their showing in UK last yaer that they'll come out firing. I'm not convinced though that we've got the prop issue sorted. We'll see on Sunday
