my favourite player has to be jonny wilkinson,he is a role model for all young kids on and off the pitch and he works as ahrd as he can to try and improve

I have just learned that the greatest player of all time has decided to retire from international rugby. He is a role model to all youngsters playing the sport. He shows great determination and excellent decorum on and off the pitch. He rises above all the challenges put in front of him (especially the neck problem.) I don't play in the scrum but even so he is the rugby player I strive to be. With his departure English rugby is losing more than a great player but also an ambassador for the sport. Jason Leonard is one of the greatest players ever to have taken to a rugby pitch and I am glad to be able to say that I saw him reach his 100th cap. He is a true hero to the game of rugby. The true stuff that legends are made of. He will sorely be missed.

Congratulations to a team of heroes! A very long awaited, well deserved win! It was very special to see Johno lifting the cup that he has worked so hard for over his career. Well done lads and good luck for the six nations. We'll be watching!!

I can't pick out a "favourite" player because the whole team are heroes and no single player could have won the game without the support of his fellow team mates so congratulations to them all, although as a tigers supporter I'm very proud of the welford seven.
Good Luck to England for the game against Scotland.
