Sirs I used to be a rugby player until injury put paid to my playing career. My ideal position, given the choice, would be to take up a position in coaching Rugby. Since my school days I have played both Rugby League and Rugby Union and was able to do so for most of my playing career. I was fortunate to play pro Rugby league, for a couple of seasons, with Batley Bulldogs in the mid 80’s and had a few representative matches at amateur level in both Union and in League. I am very proud of the fact that I am qualified to coach both codes of rugby, indeed I am currently gearing up to enhance my qualifications by taking the first module of the Rugby Union Level 3 course and I am a qualified Rugby League Senior Coach(equiv.level 3). As well as Rugby coaching awards I also possess certificates for fitness, conditioning and Weight lifting. I believe a coaches education is never ending and my drive to learn is unrelenting, This season, I have been involved with the Plymouth University squad as Coach and at Plymstock Rugby club as Both a coach and as Director of coaching. Interested? My C.V. is available on request.

Mark, It must be obvious that there is a demand for a dedicated page for coaching positions either wanted by clubs or coaches. This might also be a good community link and development page, for coaches to plant a CV online etc. The string for this page keps getting longer and longer, proving its popularity.
