Guys
In OZ many of the city councils have been bang their heads together at where have all their street marking cones gone. You guess it to every football ground in Brisbane. I have even seen a visiting S12 team's kicker and trainer in the carpark sizeing up mark cones for kicking tees.
I think next law changing meeting the IRB will put restraints on the size of tees.

Yep.....well, cept that then it wouldn't be high enough. Next thing, the kicker will need to bring on is a rubber step ladder to reach the ball.

How long before we see the first modified road cone. I reckon if the top three inches was cut off these would make an excellent kicking tee!! Can I have the copy right on the design?

as long as the tee is safe if for any reason it is left on the field, and a player or officail falls on it.
then the design is fine

Go to the IRB website and look on ther for any technical restrictions on Kicking tees, if there is not reference to them I am sure that you can pretty much use what you like! I have seen quite a range of tees from sand to almost a pole sticking out of the ground supporting the ball! I am personally not sure of any restrictions!

Is there anybody who can help me on the restrictions there are on kicking tees? I am trying to design a re-useable kicking tee that acts similarily to sand (i.e. bristles). Can anybody inform me to restrictions I have to design towards?
