Not sure about first but ive heard of the second," Will Poyner " where did he originate? I had encounter with him Playing in Midlands floodlit cup 99 or 00 i think, and again against Coventry Welsh but think that was 99. ive heard his name banded around the Midlands Circle. Un.Svcs team? have you heard of Jock forgot surname origin from berwick-on-tweed played 2000.

I remember going to Portsmouth United Svcs training sessions 2000-01, a few from there spring to mind. Will Poyner RFA (ex-RNRFU U21 Lock)after pre-season training and improvement in fitness lining up for team against British Army U21's at Twickenham but pulled for deployment at short notice, managed a game against Devon County i believe Sept 2000. but due to lack of weight but considerable muscular strength was re-positioned for first time as playing Centre (Outside or In). Some disagreed the change would work as would be disadvataged by agility in switching from shorter opposition but proved sucessful in match that i observed, quite odd for one of your tallest players to play cent or wing!but was worth a go. according to rumour he stuck with this position whilst on tour with forces.Anyone playing Dubai-7's 2001 may have come across him? shame if he gave up but is normally the case.

Just going through old team lists and looking to trace former players, in order to see where they are now, with the delight that some have increased there player ranking and status. I know a few have gone on to Premier and Celtic league teams but some are not found, maybe getting distracted, injured (perm) or the wife has something to do it!Im looking initially at finding Ian Jennings (played number 7) who played for United Services, then went onto Hampshire U21's i believe but that was 2000. anyone heard of him since?
