Dear Sir / Madam,
The Carinthian Matadors Rugby Football Club would like to invite international
Rugby Clubs and hobby teams to participate in our first International
Carinthian Rugby Sevens to take place in Paternion, Austria on the 9th
(and 10th) of September. We aim the tournament at teams that might not
have such a high proficiency in playing rugby (well, we ourselves
don't...) but a keen interest in the fun aspect of the game and in
meeting and playing teams from the "Rugby diaspora". For that reason we
timed the tournament to concide with the local fair, so that traditional
and less traditional entertainment can be guaranteed.
We can arrange accomondation for the participants, it should cost no
more than 35EUR per person per night at the local hotel and B&B and camp
site are also available nearby.
It is highly recommended that participants consider combining the rugger
with a short holiday, the following link has relevant information as

Aside from the tournament, we would like to promote our Rugby pitch for
training camps, friendlies etc. We have Austria's only permanent,
full-size pitch. Facilities include changing rooms and a small club bar.
We ask for nothing more in return than to participate in the training
sessions of our guest clubs and maybe some other useful support for our
skills.
