Im thinking of organising an end of season seven a side tournament for U14s
at our club (we are in southern ireland). Does anyone have any experience of running such a tournament
dos and donts, etc?
I am thinking of 8 teams, two groups of 4 (6 matches per group, 3 per team) with
winners, 2nds, thirds and fourths in each group playing each other for cup,
plate, bowl, vase.
I want to run it off in one day. Is that enough/too many teams? We have two
adjacent pitches to use.
Can U14's manage 7 a side on a full pitch or would they be better off on
half a pitch?
Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
