Beckenham RFC would like to invite applications from ambitious individuals to join us as a new senior coach for season 2008/09 and beyond to help us achieve our goal of promotion to London 1.
The primary responsibility of the senior coach is to make sure we maintain an integrated first and second team squad through well organised and managed coaching but the senior coach must also ensure coaching for our entire adult membership and the academy squad is consistent and well co-ordinated. Working with an established team of coaches our ideal candidate will have the following qualities:
• Superb coaching skill (Level 2 a minimum, Level 3 preferred)
• Experience of promotion
• Possess the ability to attract new players
• Excellent man management skills
• The talent to communicate effectively
• An appreciation of the psychology of winning
Beckenham has superb facilities, run 6 senior men’s sides, a ladies team and operate a full mini and junior set up for both boys and girls.
