most student are willing to work for free to start with,but if they are any good most clubs will come to some arrange with them re pay/treating players etc,with regard insurance most of my ex-students are also working along side the society of sports therapist or some other body that will cover them for most indemnity issues, are you working in the rugby/sports industry ? if you are you may be able to add to our scheme to get more students involved in our game.

Two things concern me with this (I am a Chartered Physiotherapist working in Sports medicine)
1/ Paying students!!?
2/ What about indemnity Insurance?

I would suggest you either contact your county admin department to see if they have any schemes up and running, if not maybe local colleges or uni's running sports therapy/physio courses where students are looking for work.
Lastly I dont know what area you are from, and may be I may have contacts in your area. Cheers Ian.

Hi, My name is ian white I have been working along side Essex and the rfuw mentoring physios for clubs and county level, I am looking for clubs willing to take on 2/3rd year physio students wanting experience in the field or within clinics. Most are willing to work for free just to get involved at grass roots level.
