Interesting. First I've heard about a possible demise of Coventry. If they do go the way of Orrell, then the effects will ripple all the way down.

Pertemps Bees and their appeal against relegation from National 1 has gone very quiet.

At the moment, National 3 North has 15 teams and National 3 South has 13. Rugby Lions have been moved south (see NCA website for next season's fixtures). If Nuneaton are saved, then it all changes at National 3 level. Err. Maybe not. Morley would survive in National 3 North, and Rugby Lions would still move south.

As it stands at the moment, North 1 has 13 teams, Midlands 1 and South West 1 have 12 and London 1 has 11. I would expect one team from North 1 to transfer to Midlands 1 (Sheffield Tigers? Stockport?) and therefore knock one team from Midlands 1 to London 1 (Bedford Athletic? Luton? Peterborough?). However, if Morley are saved (3rd worst in National 3 North) then this problem does not arise.

London 1 would still be short of a team. Would Civil Service be saved (3rd worst in London 1 last season) and the effects continue to ripple down the London Leagues? Or would Dunstablians be saved in Midlands 1 - because Coventry are a Midlands Club?

...........and then chuck in the possible/probable collapse of Coventry and the emergence of a Cov amateur side at level 9 (as with Orrell last season) and the rejig may take a bit longer till all is revealed.

The demise of Cov should only really impact upon the Midlands and North Divisions but there will be level transfers going on to accomodate and each club offered a level transfer has the right to appeal if they feel it is unfair.

I think it will be about a month or so until the fixtures come out.
In the mean time your league secretary, or competitions committee may know.
The regulations are clear about what should happen and how many are promoted in each league - but depending on your level there may be lots of unknowns, rejigs, level transfer etc that can affect it (especially lower down)

does anybody have any idea when we are told the League structure for next season. my club is waiting to hear where we shall be playing next year. i think it is important as if we are promnoted then we might keep hold of players who might wish to try their luck at a higher standard, so we need to find out as soon as possible whether we can offer them that higher standard.
