In general, the collared shirt seems to be the more traditional "loose" shirt. The crew-collar shirt (more of a T-shirt look) is the one that replicates the style, if not the very tight fit, of the true playing jersey. Bearing in mind that few supporters maintain the same physique as the England players, it's possible that a decision has been taken not to offer the true Tight-Fit jersey, as so few could take it up.
There are ladies' styles available, though I know my daughter prefers a man's fit. My wife, on the other hand, prefers the more tailored look.
