The organisers of Herts Girls Sevens 2006, to be held at Letchworth RFC this year, has launched a "Web log" (or "blog") which will allow anyone interested in the competition to keep up-to-date with news and entry lists for this years Hertfordshire Girls Sevens - see

The invitation letter and entry forms can already also be found on the site, as well details of entries received to date, and various web links of wider interest to players and followers of the game alike.
The draw will also appear here first when it is made at the end of March, as will other news and information right up to the day of the event - 14th May
2006- after which it will be the place to find results and reports.
For those really up-to-date with the latest technology, you can even subscribe to RSS and Atom feeds bringing the latest news to your desktop as it is published.
Herts Girls Manager John Birch, who is the main organiser of the event, says "the technology is there, its free, so why not use it? Most of the girls taking part will be pretty switched on to the latest web tools, so its a great way of both advertising the event and keeping the player and officials in touch with what's happening".
