ELVs and the Youth Game

A one page letter explaining the application of the ELVs to the Under 19 game for cross border fixtures can be downloaded here (PDF 20kB).

Insurance

Clubs have been sent letters by Nick Eastwood notifying them of the funding arrangements for season 2008/09. The letter includes information about revenue funding, capital funding, travel allowances, and insurance (including liability and ELVs). Copies of the insurance cover are available in the Insurance section of the RFU website.

From the beginning of season 2008/09, all ERFSU affiliated schools will automatically be covered by RFU insurance. The RFU will pay in full the insurance premium to further support the growth of the game in schools. Affiliation to the ERFSU is the natural consequence of affiliation to the appropriate County Schools Union.
