CB Send Out - October 16, 2009
There are four items of importance that I would like to tell you about:
‘This is Rugby’ Collateral
Please find a downloadable document with details of the ‘This is Rugby’ resources (PDF 1MB) now available to purchase. Please note that orders can only be accepted on behalf of either the CB or a club, rather than individuals. If you have any queries regarding the resources or kit available please refer them to Jessica Mills firstname.lastname@example.org or Katharine Bessent email@example.com
BT Community Connections
Community and charitable organisations can apply for a laptop and a year’s free broadband connection. Awards will be given to groups who can demonstrate how it will benefit their work and the local community. In the past rugby clubs have been successful. To find out more visit BT’s Community Connections website. The deadline for online applications is 7 January 2010
RFU Injured Players Foundation
Supporting the RFU Injured Players Foundation is a fantastic way to be involved with a rugby charity actively helping those who have been injured playing the game. There are a number of ways individuals, clubs and businesses can support the RFU IPF - from running a half marathon to holding a coffee morning to waxing your chest…. For more inspiration please visit the IPF website.
New RFU clubs agreement with Sky
From 1 December 2009 any RFU affiliated club will be entitled to a package of Sky services that includes Sky Sports 1, 2 and 3 as well as Sky Sports News for a preferential base monthly cost of £109. Full details of the deal will be sent to clubs via RugbyFirst shortly.
