County Sports Partnerships
The RFU is committed to forming an even stronger working relationship with all the stakeholders under the County Sports Partnership (CSP) banner. Part of that commitment is to provide up-to-date and specific information to our staff, colleagues and partners – both within rugby union and sport and outside the game – on an ongoing and regular basis.
The successful Regional Engagement Days in February 2010 were a great start to furthering this work but we all need to build on that good foundation.
We continue to work on rugby union’s requirement against the new CSP Core Specification. The target date to have this in place is May 1 and following that date, accompanying information will be added to this section of RFU.com. That will enable our Regional Delivery Teams and the CSPs Core Teams to engage even more positively based on a clear structure of programmes.
The key to the CSP relationships is local engagement and our Regional Delivery Teams (RDT) are always the first port of call. The following link provides a complete list of all RDT contact details.
Regional Engagement Days 2010
The RFU staged nine Regional Engagement Days around the country between February 1 and 22. Thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to these positive sessions.
