NatWest RugbyForce
We understand how important local rugby clubs are; they help form the heart and soul of community life and provide the foundation upon which international rugby is built. That’s why the RFU has partnered with NatWest to launch NatWest RugbyForce, a nationwide programme, designed to make rugby clubs stronger businesses by improving and renovating their facilities with the support of volunteers and the community. The work focuses around the NatWest RugbyForce Weekend, which takes place on June 15 and 16, 2013.

How to register your club for NatWest RugbyForce 2013
To register for NatWest RugbyForce 2013 and to enter the Pride of the Nation competition simply click here and submit contact details for your club and a summary of the facility improvement project you would complete over the NatWest RugbyForce Weekend. Registration for NatWest RugbyForce closes on June 14, 2013.
If you are not a member of a rugby club then NatWest RugbyForce is still open to you. Use the club finder at www.rfu.com/takingpart to locate your closest club and offer your support for the Weekend. You don’t have to be a DIY expert, there are jobs for everyone.
Funding grants
As well as guidance and support, the NatWest RugbyForce programme also guarantees funding to 175 RFU associated rugby clubs who have registered for NatWest RugbyForce 2013, through grants of amounts of £500 (175 prizes to be won) and £3,500 (35 prizes to be won), meaning 35 of the 175 clubs will receive a total of £4000, to fund a major renovation project over the NatWest RugbyForce Weekend. To be in a chance of winning one of these grants, clubs must have registered for NatWest RugbyForce by February 23, 2013.
Representatives from the RFU and NatWest decide which clubs will receive the most benefit from receiving the financial grants. More information about the selection process and judging criteria can be found in the FAQs.
