NatWest RugbyForce Registration Terms and Conditions

 

  1. NatWest RugbyForce 2013 is open to member clubs of the Rugby Football Union (“RFU”) and their members, employees and agents of the Royal Bank of Scotland group of companies and their family members.
  2. All rugby clubs that register for NatWest RugbyForce 2013 must be a member of the RFU.
  3. The NatWest RugbyForce 2013 Weekend will officially take place on June 15 and 16, 2013.
  4. Registration for NatWest RugbyForce 2013 will close at 11:59pm on June 14, 2013. Clubs must be registered for NatWest RugbyForce 2013 to be eligible to receive the incentives and enter the competition.
  5. One registration per club. Registrations are not returnable. Registrations must be submitted online at www.rfu.com/NatWestRugbyForce. They, and the copyright in them, become the property of the Promoter.
  6. Registrations not submitted in accordance with these rules, delayed, damaged, incomplete, altered or illegible will not be accepted. No responsibility is accepted for delayed registrations. Proof of sending by email or post will not be accepted as proof of registration.
  7. All registered clubs agree to take part in publicity in connection with NatWest RugbyForce and also agree to invest any funds and/or resources allocated to their rugby club by the Royal Bank of Scotland plc for the purposes of NatWest RugbyForce 2013, into their club's NatWest RugbyForce 2013 event.
  8. All applicants and participants in the competition agree that their personal data may be processed by the Promoter and the RFU for the purposes of this promotion.
  9. By taking part all clubs agree to complete a post-event survey to feedback on the NatWest RugbyForce 2013 activity at their club.
  10. The Promoter reserves the right to alter, amend or foreclose the promotion without prior notice.

Name On The Steps Incentive Terms and Conditions

  1. All clubs that submit a complete registration in accordance with the Registration Terms and Conditions by 11:59pm, on Friday, February 15, 2013 will have their club’s name appear on one of the steps at Twickenham on the day of the England v France match on Saturday, February 23, 2013 and on the day of the England v Italy game on Sunday, March 10, 2013.
  2. All clubs that submit a complete registration in accordance with the Registration Terms and Conditions by 11:59pm, on March 1, 2013 will have their club’s name appear on one of the steps at Twickenham for the day of the England v Italy match only.
  3. Your club’s name will be shown only. The Promoter will decide on the design and all development, production and installation costs will be covered. It is down to the rugby club to ensure that their name is submitted correctly. The Promoter accepts no liability for any errors or omissions and for incorrect spelling.
  4. Images of each step will be shown on Facebook [NatWest RugbyForce] within two working days of each of the matches. Tickets to matches are not included as part of the prize. Your “Name On The Step” is non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.

NatWest RugbyForce Grants Terms and Conditions

  1. The NatWest RugbyForce 2013 grants scheme is open to member clubs of the Rugby Football Union (RFU) that have registered for NatWest RugbyForce 2013.
  2. One entry per club. Registrations are not returnable. Registrations must be submitted online at www.rfu.com/NatWestRugbyForce by 11:59pm on February 23, 2013. They, and the copyright in them, become the property of the Promoter.
  3. Registrations not submitted in accordance with these rules, delayed, damaged, incomplete, altered or illegible will not be accepted. No responsibility is accepted for delayed registrations. Proof of sending by email or post will not be accepted as proof of registration.
  4. The following incentives are on offer:
    1. 175 clubs (the “participating clubs”) will be selected to attend one of 35 RugbyForce workshops (five clubs per workshop). Workshops will take place in April 2013 and dates and locations will be confirmed by the RFU once all 175 clubs have been selected. Each club will be offered five places at the workshop. Club members attending the workshop must be aged 18 or over. Travel and accommodation are not included as part of any of the prizes.
    2. The remaining 140 of the participating clubs will be awarded a grant of £500 to go towards the NatWest RugbyForce Weekend 2013.
    3. 35 of the 175 participating clubs will be awarded a grant of £3500 (the “renovation grant”), meaning a total of 35 clubs will receive £4000 to undertake a major renovation project over the NatWest RugbyForce Weekend 2013.
  5. Decisions regarding the clubs attending the workshops and receiving the grant of £500 will be made on March 4, 2013 and notified by of their win by email and/or phone by March 15, 2013, when the information about the winner will be available by sending a SAE to NatWest RugbyForce competition 2013, Rugby Football Union, Rugby House, Twickenham Stadium, 200 Whitton Road, Twickenham, TW2 7BA.
  6. The decision regarding the clubs receiving the total grant of £4000 will be made on May 6, 2013. Any clubs that have won a grant will be notified of their win by email and/or phone by May 15, 2013, when the information about the winner will be available by sending a SAE to NatWest RugbyForce competition 2013, Rugby Football Union, Rugby House, Twickenham Stadium, 200 Whitton Road, Twickenham, TW2 7BA
  7. The judges’ decisions are final, no correspondence will be entered into.
  8. Funds will be paid by cheque or BACs upon receipt of an invoice on or by Friday, May 31, 2013. 
  9. The participating clubs will be selected by a panel comprised of a representative from NatWest and representatives from the Rugby Football Union (RFU). The participating clubs will be those clubs who, in the opinion of the judges, write the most apt and suitable responses to the following questions:
    1. Tell us what your club is planning to do for your RugbyForce event:
    2. Tell us how this project will help you improve the quality of the experience for people when using or visiting your club.
  10. The clubs receiving the renovation grants will be selected by a National Panel consisting of:
    1. A representative from the NatWest Retail branch network
    2. A representative from the NatWest Retail Sponsorship team
    3. Representatives from the RFU

      Additional funding of £250 towards the NatWest RugbyForce weekend will be provided to up to a further 225 clubs.

      The £250 grant is subject to the following conditions:
      1. The club agree to run a NatWest RugbyForce weekend in line with the clubs proposals or otherwise agreed with the RFU on the 15/16 June 2013.
      2. The club keep on file appropriate receipts/invoices in relation to the grant which may be requested for verification.
      3. The club agree to provide post-event feedback as or if directed by the RFU.
  11. The clubs receiving the renovation grants will be those clubs who, in the opinion of the judges:  
    1. Benefit the most from the grant
    2. Will be most engaged with the programme
  12. The decisions of the judges are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  13. All registered clubs agree to take part in publicity in connection with NatWest RugbyForce and also agree to invest any funds and/or resources allocated to their rugby club by the Royal Bank of Scotland plc for the purposes of NatWest RugbyForce 2013, into their club's NatWest RugbyForce 2013 event.
  14. All applicants and participants in the competition agree that their personal data may be processed by the Promoter and the Rugby Football Union for the purposes of this promotion.
  15. By taking part all clubs agree to complete a post-event survey to feedback on the NatWest RugbyForce 2013 activity at their club.
  16. If any grant is unclaimed after reasonable efforts have been made to contact the winners, the Promoter will be entitled to dispose of the grant as it sees fit without any liability to the winners for having done so.
  17. The Promoter reserves the right to alter, amend or foreclose the promotion without prior notice.
