Using Members Networks

To use a marketing term, it’s usually cheaper and easier to get more from an existing loyal customer than it is to acquire a new customer. Therefore encourage your members to invite friends and work colleagues along to the club, either to play or perhaps watch international matches. Parents with kids in the junior section can invite other parents with their kids. Why not give people business cards with the club details on to help them?

In an age where so many people communicate via Twitter and Facebook, you should look to use these communication tools for the club and also encourage your members to communicate club messages to their networks. See our top tips on using Facebook to promote your events (PDF 957kB).
