The transformation of a paddock and a pig shed into the new Mildenhall RFC headquarters has been more far-reaching than simply the development of real estate. The twin aspirations of playing at Eastern Counties level and providing a proper 'home' for their US Airforce membership have been realised at Jenner's Paddock, where a battle against the resident mole population proved to be one of the biggest hurdles. The delivery of a brand new set of aluminium posts from the RFU has been the icing on the cake.
