More Referees Award 2009/10

Winner: Loughborough Students

Each year Loughborough Students RFC recruits, trains and mentors students to become qualified, high-quality referees and currently has 27 qualified referees, with 30 more signed up for the most recent ELRA course. The programme retains annually around 20 referees who act as 'senior referees' to mentor the new referees coming into the system. Their role is to watch, help and feedback to new referees and to guide them in their continued development.
