More Volunteers Award 2009/10

Firework Night fun certainly lit up Ruislip in more ways than one, not least via the recruitment of 72 new volunteers as a result of a major initiative to promote the night and, on the back of it, flag up the chance for people to become involved as volunteers. The evening ran very smoothly with a well co-ordinated plan, 12 specially catered for disabled guests and over 3000 people from the local community attending.
