A recognition scheme available to all RFU Seal of Approval accredited clubs. The Seal of Approval Club of the Year award is looking to recognise clubs that encourage more people to take part in rugby and set standards to which other clubs aspire. If your club has a proven track record of working in partnership with local schools, colleges and local authorities, and you have high standards of safety, welfare and governance, then we want to hear from you.
To nominate your club as the RFU's 'Seal of Approval Club of the Year' complete an application form; please click here to nominate your club. Please note entries are accepted from 1st November to 1st February.
The top three entries represent the RFU at the Sports Club of the Year Awards. The Sports Club of the Year Awards is now in its 17th year of operation, and is hosted by the Sport and Recreation Alliance, in association with The Foundation for Sport and the Arts.
First prize for this prestigious award is £6,000, while two second prizes of £3,000 and three third prizes of £1,000 are also available. Nominations for the awards can only be made by national governing bodies, such as the RFU, and due to the popularity of the Awards, each organisation is allowed to nominate a maximum of three clubs. Only by taking part in the Seal of Approval Club of the Year Award will your club be given the opportunity to be nominated.
