West Car Park Hospitality
CB Community Rugby Reps and RFU staff are invited to bring valued volunteers who already have a match ticket along to a pre-match beer and curry in the West Car Park. Approximately 200 meals are served before each major home England International, with RFU staff members hosting the event and staffing the bar.
Carole Thelwall-Jones, CB Volunteer Manager, is one of the hosts of this event and says: "The RFU greatly values the contributions of key volunteers in clubs, counties, schools and colleges around the country and the West Car Park hospitality events held alongside major matches at Twickenham gives the RFU the opportunity to offer tangible recognition (in the shape of food, drink and good craic - in a friendly relaxed atmosphere) to the cast of thousands who help to promote and develop the game”.
