In developing the Nike Young Volunteer Stash programme, a subsequent series of awards have been designed to further reward outstanding young volunteers. The Young Volunteers Plus (YV+) awards scheme will allow those young people who contribute an outstanding amount to their communities to be recognised with significant volunteering opportunities.

Following on from their nomination and selection for a Nike-branded fleece, a select few young volunteers will then be invited to take part in some special volunteering opportunities. These opportunities will be based around involvement with the England representative sides in, where possible, an area of particular interest to them; enabling them to build on specific skills they have already acquired through their rugby volunteering.

Due to these opportunities being at an extremely exclusive level, a panel of judges will be in place to select the award winners from the shortlist of young volunteers from the Nike Young Volunteer Stash programme. The selection process will take place from January/February onwards with opportunities primarily falling within the 6 Nations schedule.
