RFU Sports First Aid Course Tutor Training
If you would like to become a tutor and deliver the RFU Sports First Aid Course, please contact health@rfu.com to register your interest and receive notification of upcoming tutor courses.
The courses will cover all the relevant material that you will be required to deliver, as well as the procedures necessary to become formal members of STA (annual membership fee £40). Membership to the awarding body will entitle tutors to a £10 million public liability insurance cover.
One Day Course With Distance Learning
Previous experience required:
- Tutor trained (e.g. Level 2 teaching qualification; RFU tutor certificate or proven tutor experience)
- FAW certificate plus current CPR protocols
Cost of £120 per delegate
Half Day Course With Distance Learning
Previous experience required:
- Medically trained with tutor experience (e.g. state registered nurse, state registered paramedic or chartered physiotherapist) or
- Existing accredited course provider
Cost of £80 per delegate
