Tag to Twickenham

Tag 2 Twickenham is the local to national competition for primary schools playing tag rugby. The programme is part of the RFU Yazoo Primary School Programme and the local, county, regional and national festivals pathway is run in partnership with Child Victims of Crime (CVOC) and the Police.

The Yazoo and CVOC programmes join up under the Tag 2 Twickenham banner to provide a national competition. Local festivals follow coaching sessions at school, also providing the opportunity for schools to link with their local clubs. All schools are welcome to take part. County festivals then take place from which the winning schools progress to one of 10 regional Tag 2 Twickenham festivals.

Win there and the lucky top 20 go through to the National Tag 2 Twickenham Finals Day, which takes place annually in the second week of July at the birthplace of the game, Rugby School.

Dates of the Regional Festivals which take place in May and June are confirmed by January.
