This new academic year coincides with one of the most exhilarating events in the rugby calendar, the Rugby World Cup. This year the event is being held in New Zealand and to harness such an exciting event and launch the Resource Back we have produced a number of Rugby World Cup based resources.
Love Rugby: Love Reading toolkit has been produced in partnership with the National Literacy Trust, an independent charity that aims to transform lives through literacy. Join the National Literacy Trust’s Schools’ Network and receive support and ideas to raise literacy standards at your school.

RFU Primary Project based resource ‘Become a Rugby World Cup Winner!’ is a one stop shop of teacher resources, pupil work sheets and interactive games all based on the Rugby World Cup 2011. In the resource the children will cover KS2 maths, english, science, geography and citizenship in accruing the necessary skills to become a World Cup winner. The resource has been produced by the RFU with teacher and partner assistance.
