Players and especially those on the talent pathways want to find an edge to help their performance. It is vital first and foremost for their own wellbeing that they do this within the parameters of the game and safety.

The RFU Anti-doping team is very active in educating and providing outstanding guidance and resources for all players and teachers.

High quality specific positional, fitness and core skills coaching can make all the difference for talented players. The RFU is pushing the boundaries in this respect through its elite and grassroots coach education programmes.
