vRugby

78% of Rugby Union participants are under 25 years old. The RFU will encourage, guide, support and develop those individuals who show enthusiasm and skill to lead and volunteer in Rugby.

The vRugby programme provides quality experiences for young volunteers that aims for them to become lifelong rugby participants.  vRugby applies across everywhere that the game is played including schools.

Recruit – Anyone between 14 – 24 years old can get involved.

Train – The Leadership and Volunteering Curriculum provides guidance on the training opportunities available for young people.

Deploy – Opportunities to get involved in events, projects, placements and roles that exist at local, county and national level.

Recognise – Saying thank you to those who are committed to leadership and volunteering is important and a range of RFU schemes recognise young people

vRugby Young Volunteers will:
