Performance Pathways

There are many talented young rugby players within FE colleges. There are pathways in place for every individual to maximise their own potential both within the RFU pathways and through the England Colleges representative team which is organised by British College Sport.

The most talented players are usually identified through county-based schools of rugby. Many then move on to study the Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence (AASE) at an FE college under the umbrella of an RFU regional academy.
