By forming a club link with the clubs in your community you are providing benefits and opportunities for your students as well as integrating your university within the community.

With its local staff, and through the tools outlined here, the RFU supports and promotes the formation of partnerships between universities and community clubs.

By working collaboratively with these partners, there are many benefits both to the university and to its students. Providing such links for universities ensures that you can engage and integrate with the wider community on equal terms. This encourages students into lifelong involvement in the game.

Benefit From an Educational Link

The fundamental aim of a Club Education Link is to develop the very best level of quality and opportunity for young people in sport both in and out of education.

We want everyone to enjoy being part of rugby union whatever role they have. Taking part in university rugby should help people have lifelong involvement in rugby as a fantastic game and experience!
