England Student Trials
The first England Students trial will take place at Worcester Warriors on the 18th and 19th December 2012.
During the first trial a North and South regional squad will train together, and then play each other on the final day.
A nomination form and playing CV must be submitted by Friday 30th November 2012 to the England Students Team Manager for all players wishing to be considered for their Regional Team. A group of selectors will also be watching games throughout the season.
A second trial and final squad selection will take place at the St Georges Burton on Trent on the 2nd and 3rd January 2013.
A final trial and squad preparation for the England Students International fixtures will be held at Uppingham School on January 13 2013.
Step By Step Nomination Process
- For teams in Premier A and B complete your match report form after every game.
- Nomination Forms will be sent electronically by the Rugby Football Union to every institution.
- Nomination Forms must be sent to the England Students Team Manager by Friday 30th November 2012.
- The England Students Team Manager and National Coaches will liaise with the Regional Team Managers to select a squad of approximately 30 players to represent each region and will communicate directly with the players regarding the arrangements for the England Students trials.
