| RFU Supports the Wooden Spoon | |||

The RFU is delighted to support the Wooden Spoon during the Sweet Chariot Tour. The RFU are aiming to raise upwards of £50,000 for Wooden Spoon, a charity dedicated to helping disadvantaged children and young people, at the events taking place as the William Webb Ellis Trophy tours England. The Sweet Chariot Tour is entirely to promote participation in Rugby Union in England. No commercial gain will be made from the use of the Cup. There are no entry charges to see the cup nor any charges to have a photograph taken with the cup. Entirely voluntary donations will be collected by volunteers on behalf of the Wooden Spoon at each venue without any obligation. In the last 20 years Wooden Spoon has raised £8 million which has been distributed to projects for children and young people, all achieved by volunteers working on behalf of Wooden Spoon Society.
