Clive to be honoured at Buckingham Palace

02 December 2002

England Head Coach Clive Woodward will on Tuesday (December 3rd) be honoured for his contribution to the sport when he receives an OBE from Her Majesty The Queen at Buckingham Palace.
Woodward has been in charge of the England team since September 1997 and most recently guided the side to a triple Southern Hemisphere triumph over New Zealand, South Africa and reigning Rugby World Cup champions Australia in the autumn Investec Challenge Series.
The Head Coach, who lives in Buckinghamshire and has previously played for Leicester, England and the British Lions, was listed on the Queen's birthday honours list in June but will travel to London with his family to receive the award.
