Leicester Tigers have announced that fly half Andy Goode has returned to the club until the end of the current season.
The 23-year-old left Tigers in June 2002, and has averaged 15 points per game in his 33 Zurich Premiership matches for Saracens since then.
Tigers director of rugby Dean Richards said: "He's a quality player, and will add much-needed depth to our squad as we are trying to contend with several long term injuries.
"Andy has been with us since Monday, and has looked sharp in training. He will definitely be in contention for a place in the team against Leeds on Saturday."
It was Goode, as a 21-year-old, who started the 2001 Heineken Cup final against Stade Francais and, having scored 115 points in his ten league games for Saracens so far this season, is in prolific form.
"Andy has come back to us a more mature and complete player," said Richards.
"He's shown in his time down at Saracens how well he can control a game."
